THE MARCO MARCO MIAMI COLLECTION DEBUTED AT MACY’S MEN MUSIC FASHION DURING MIAMI BEACH GAY PRIDE

Marco Marco has joined forces with Fourth Dimension Virtual Reality to present its Miami show in 360 degree VR. Directed by Jason Koffeman and Executive Produced by Kevin Cornish, the Marco Marco Miami VR Experience allows those who were unable to attend the show to immerse in the world of Marco Marco. The viewer now has a front row seat to experience the models, the clothes, and the heart pumping music of Marco’s Miami fashion show as it comes at you in 360 degrees.

“Virtual Reality lets viewers feel an experience never before possible,” said Fourth Dimension’s Kevin Cornish. “Marco is a true visionary, so what better way to bring the rush of his latest inspiration to the world than through this visionary new medium?” Director Jason Koffeman echoed the sentiment, “Marco Marco has made a name for itself by pushing boundaries [their runway shows feature trans models, drag queens, and male models walking in stilettos] and we’re grateful to be a part of Marco Marco continuing its path along cutting edge.”

MIAMI, FL. (April 2016) – LA-based celebrity designer brand Marco Marco launched the Marco Marco Miami collection during Macy’s MEN MUSIC FASHION on April 10, 2016 at ICON nightclub in Miami Beach.
The fashion show showcased vibrant designs created exclusively for the Miami market and served as the official closing show of the Miami Beach Gay Pride festival. The evening was hosted and emceed by Real Housewives of Miami drag star and socialite, Elaine Lancaster.

To open the runway show, Orange is the New Black actress turned singer Taryn Manning and pop artist Rilan hyped up the crowd with electric performances. Manning performed her Billboard dance chart song “Send Me Your Love”. The Marco Marco Miami Collection featured bright colors, daring cut-outs and loads of glamour. Modeling the designs were previous winners of the hit show Rupaul’s Drag Race including Detox, Wlllam and Raja, as well as Marco’s angels, April Carrion and Rhea Litré and Trans model Lauren Foster, who closed the show. The runway also included drag stars Daisy Deadpetals, Calypso Monroe XXX. After the finale, designer Marco Morante came out to thank his fans and posed at the end of the runway in his signature photo stance by covering his face with his hands. Afterwards, the venue transformed into the festival’s official VIP after party where guests partied the night away with house beats by renowned DJ Hector Fonseca.
